What does a training session look like?

Training sessions with me are personalized and tailored to meet the needs of each player.

I begin with an introductory session in which I assess your child's strengths and areas for improvement.

After the introductory session, I determine a plan of action for how we will improve the areas of need.

Depending on the player's position, areas of strength, and areas of need, a 1-hour session with an athlete may include drills that work on the following skills (O = Offense, D = Defense):

-Footwork (O & D)

-Maintaining strong field presence (O & D)

-Maintaining a purposeful position in the transition (O & D)

-Draw controls/gaining possession (O & D)

-Stickwork (O & D)

-Proper decision-making in a fast-break situation (O & D)

-Changing speed and direction in a dodge (O)

-Shooting accuracy (O)

-Using a variety of shooting techniques to score (O)

-Defensive body positioning (D)

-Transition defense (D)

-Checking (D)
